People are driven to learn for two main reasons. The first is pressure, of familial, cultural, and societal norms. The second is the hunger for knowledge that nourishes a person’s goals in life, and is their reason for showing up in the world every day. Whether I am teaching biology or helping you write a personal statement, my best skill is getting that story out of you, and using that to help you excel.
