Sahare has been learning and growing in the worlds of scientific and sociological research, political organizing, and the literary arts for more than a decade.

After years in political and community organizing in Austin and Dallas, Sahare grew tired and burnt out from a system that constantly drained resources from community needs and left organizers depleted. After taking some time off from “resisting,” and focusing on inner joy, childlike creativity, and liberating her mind, Sahare discovered the magic of wanting to build (or discover) the world she always envisioned in dreams.

She was lucky to come across a consulting firm with radical ideas and methods. Working with a small team (Upside Down Consulting) to strengthen the interaction of community groups in Chicago to the solidarity economy, Sahare discovered her passion for transmuting political resistance into imagination and creation.

Alongside her political curiosities have been her interests in the sciences. Before teaching organic chemistry, she managed clinical research trials and advocated for equitable, integrated, and holistic health systems through local and community organizing.

Based in New York City, Sahare is a part of a community of scholars, artists, and advocates— basically people who fight hard, dream big, and stay free.
